First of all thank you so much to my lecturer, Ms. Ratnawati M.Pd who gaved me the task, and now I’ll try to summarize from that video. Well I watched the video about “ Teaching Learning to Young Learners”.
Well, as we know, accoarding Paul :2003 he has stated that:
1. Listen as much English of an appropriate levels as possible.
2. Improve much from special or regular excercises in class
3. Improve student’s listening practice.
how can we implement listening activity in the classroom? It depends on situation. Of course it has 2 steps, there are : listen the new words, and read the new words.
In this discussion, there are some activity to increase abilities’s the young learner such as : dictation, Bingo, Chopstick spelling game, Bingo Grid, and the last is stories.
And the last point it’s about analisys the video.
Actually, it has much various steps to encourage the young learners, it starts from simple thing to understand them of new learning in their environment.
