Name : Karina Suhada Class : 2109180084 NIM : 2109180084 Young learners, since they are “young” and their speaking  equipment has not yet developed perfectly, will probably have limitations inspeaking. Young children learning English as a foreign language do not develop English  –  Language skills more readily than older learners. However, they have a clear advantagewhen it comes to pronunciation if they begin learning English as a foreign or secondlanguage at an early age (Birdsong, 1999). Well I watched the video about “ Teaching Learning to Young Learners”. Well, as we know, accoarding Paul :2003 he has stated that: 1. Listen as much English of an appropriate levels as possible. 2. Improve much from special or  regular excercises in class 3. Improve student’s listening practice. how can we implement listening activity in the classroom? It depends on situation. Of course it has 2 steps, there are : listen the new words, and read the new words. In this discussion, there are some activity to increase abilities’s the young learner such as : dictation, Bingo,  Chopstick spelling game, Bingo Grid, and the last is stories.
